Technology Ventures Corporation has raised over $1 billion in 15 years for entrepreneurs. In 2005 TVC had help to raise $500 million fueling 65 new businesses and creation of over 6,000 jobs. Today 100 businesses and 12,000 jobs have been created with the help of TVC. TVC receives $5 million in funding from Lockheed Martin and the Department of Energy combined. According to TVC of the 197 companies that have presented at the symposia 71 have received funding for a 36 percent rate.
